Galapagos|liveaboards
The Galapagos Islands are a small spot in the Pacific, off the coast of Ecuador, where Charles Darwin philosophised and wrote the Origin of Species. Your adventure here promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience of unparalleled beauty and mystique.
Constructed in 2009, the Humboldt Explorer is a purpose-built steel-hulled mono yacht that ensures your dive trip to the Galapagos is safe and stable. Her overall length of 32 meters allows plenty of space for setting up your dive equipment and cameras and relaxing between dives. The Humboldt has been safely carrying divers to the most exciting dive destination on the planet for over a decade.
The Humboldt Explorer can accommodate up to sixteen guests in eight ensuite cabins. All cabins, located on both the main and lower decks, have air conditioning and flat-screen televisions.
Cabins can be arranged to accommodate either twins or doubles. The private showers have hot and cold water, and all rooms have windows allowing plenty of natural light and a view of the passing primal landscape.
Diving from the Humboldt is done from two dive tenders, making sure of ultimate accuracy and safety.
The dive deck is spacious, uncluttered and clean, giving you plenty of room to store your things, gear up, and take care of your underwater camera equipment.
Roberto, the head chef onboard the Humboldt, works hard to produce a varied menu for the guests and maintains a flexible array of cuisine. However, due to the remote location of the Galapagos, it can be challenging to get some food items.
Infinite Blue works with the team to ensure your adapted dietary needs are cared for.
