The Liveaboard

Purpose-built for dive adventures, the vessel provides an ideal platform for the scuba adventure of a lifetime.

Accommodation

galapagos aggressor III-galapagos-cbainThe Galapagos Aggressor III caters for up to 16 divers in four deluxe staterooms and six master staterooms. The cabins offer a selection of arrangements with both twin bed set up and a queen bed set up available.

Each room has an ensuite bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, and a television. Rooms are spacious, and with nine crew serving up to 16 divers, you are guaranteed to be well taken care of.

The Diving

Galapagos aggressor-galapagos-sea lionThe diving here is second to none. How you go about it is important. With two large, comfortable dive tenders, you will be placed in the correct spot to make the most of your dives, and be picked up safely afterwards.

The dive deck has plenty of space to store your gear and take care of your underwater photography equipment properly.

Food Onboard

galapagos aggressor-galapagos-foodCuisine onboard the Aggressor III is a mixture of American and local cuisine and catered to suit the requirements of all guests. Breakfasts are made to order, with the remaining meals being served as a buffet.

Snacks are provided between dives, and complimentary beverages which include local beer and wine are always on hand. Vegan, plant-based + cruelty-free scuba.

Trip Inclusions:

Meet, greet and transfers from Baltra airport. Full board meals and snacks. Weightbelts, weights and 12Lt tanks. Land excursions.

Exclusions:

The trip cost excludes Marine park and port fees (payable onboard), equipment rental, nitrox, and PADI course fees.

The Galapagos Marine Park entrance fee is currently 200 USD per person.

Itinerary

  • Thursday: Arrive at Baltra Airport to be greeted by Staff. Transfer to the Itabaca Channel Canal and Boarding. Welcome, and Orientation Dive at Punta Carrion, Itabaca Channel.
  • Friday: Two-morning dives at Punta Carrion (Santa Cruz Island) or Bartolome Punta. Afternoon hike to Bartolome Summit and panga ride at Pinnacle Rock.
  • Saturday: January to May: Two morning dives at Darwin Island and Two-afternoon dives at Wolf Island.  June to December: two morning dives and two-afternoon dives at Darwin.
  • Sunday: January to May: Four dives at Wolf, two morning and two-afternoon dives. June to December: two-morning dives, 1 afternoon, and one night dive.
  • Monday: January to May: Four dives at Cabo Marshall, two-morning dives, one afternoon and one night dive. June to December: two-morning dives at Darwin, and two-afternoon dives at Wolf.
  • Tuesday: Two morning dives at Cabo Douglas and two-afternoon dives at Punta Vicente Roca.
  • Wednesday: One morning dive at Cousins Rock. Wednesday afternoon, arrive at Itabaca Channel or Puerto Ayora. After lunch, you will disembark at 1 pm to go ashore for a private bus tour to see the  Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. This will include a scenic view over Santa Cruz and the tortoise reserve to see giant tortoises.
  • After the hike: Walk through town, shop, and visit the tortoise-breeding center Fausto Llerena at the Charles Darwin Research Station. You will have dinner ashore at a local restaurant of your choice (the only meal not included in the cruise).
    The Galapagos Aggressor will depart at 10 pm from Puerto Ayora town to Baltra.
  • Thursday: You will have a full breakfast, check out and then depart to the Baltra Airport.
