The Liveaboard

Galapagos-Master-edThe Galapagos Master is an eco-friendly steel-hulled vessel that underwent a refit in 2015 and has been built with stability, comfort and safety in mind.

The ship complies with the marine park’s international safety guidelines and environmental standards, so it has the necessary permits to operate within the park and cruise you off to the scuba expedition of a lifetime. Modern, well-appointed, safe and speedy, the Galapagos Master is an excellent choice for your Galapagos dive trip.

Accommodation

Galapagos-Master-double-cabinThe Galapagos Master accommodates up to 16 divers in eight modern, well-appointed cabins. All cabins have individually controlled air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and windows that allow you to enjoy the incredible scenery.

She is a spacious vessel inside and out, with plenty of room for relaxation and dive gear preparation. The yacht is well-staffed, with twelve attentive crew members ready to ensure your comfort and safety.

The Diving

Galapagos master-galapagos-dive mapItineraries onboard the Galapagos Master will ensure you get the most out of your Galapagos liveaboard experience. Up to eighteen dives are included on a seven-night trip and twenty-seven on a ten-night trip.

Dive tenders are used to allow pinpoint entries and safe exits, and making sure you get onsite at the right time. You don’t want to miss those hammerheads, whale sharks, Galapagos sharks, and marine iguanas.

The itinerary also gives you time for land visits.

Trip Inclusions:

Meet, greet and transfers from Baltra airport. Full board meals and snacks. Weightbelts, weights and 12Lt tanks. Land excursions.

Exclusions:

The trip cost excludes Marine park and port fees (payable onboard), equipment rental, nitrox, and PADI course fees.

The Galapagos Marine Park entrance fee is currently 200 USD per person.

  • Arrive Monday morning and transfer to Galapagos Master.

  • Check dive in a sheltered bay.
  • Two morning dives at Punta Carrion and Baltra north east.
  • Afternoon land tour of North Seymour island.
  • Cruise north in the evening.
  • Four dives at Darwin.
  • Four dives at Darwin.
  • Four dives at Wolf.
  • Cruise south during the evening.
  • Four dives at Punto Vicente Roca and Cabo Douglas.
  • One morning dive at Los Gemelos.
  • Land visit at Santa Cruz to see the giant land tortoises.
  • Disembarkation on Monday morning and after a visit to the local interpretation centre on San Cristobal.
  • Transfer to the airport or local hotel.
