Komodo National Park

Awe-inspiring, bountiful, gorgeous, fish all over the show, exhilarating and some of the best diving I have ever done. These are all sentiments you hear often during a Komodo National Park dive adventure.

The park is celebrated as having some of the best drift diving in the world. Glide past colourful, vibrant coral reefs teeming with life, as their inhabitants go about their daily activities. Keep your eyes peeled for pelagics, sharks and manta as they come swooping in out of the deep blue. Dive some incredible macro sites to boot with cute frogfish, delicate nudibranchs and mesmerising octopuses, to name just a few.

Komodo is one of those places that will capture your heart and have you planning to return before you have even left.

Most Unique Dive Liveaboard in Indonesia

It is the only dive catamaran liveaboard currently cruising Indonesian waters. The Solitude Adventurer gets our vote as one of Indonesia’s most unique scuba yachts.

The Liveaboard

Solitude-Adventurer-heroThe Solitude Adventurer is a 36-meter aluminium catamaran wholly renovated in 2017. Using experience derived from the refit of sister vessel Solitude One, the adventurer now caters to up to 18 divers in luxury.

Safety

Safety onboard is paramount. The vessel has all necessary emergency/safety hardware, and the crew has been trained to use it. Nautilus Marine Rescue GPS units will be provided to all diving guests for that extra piece of mind when out diving the remote Komodo dive sites.

Accommodation

Solitude Adventurer-stateroomThere are three types of cabins to choose from, one master stateroom, six deluxe cabins, and one quad cabin.

Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with a cold/hot shower and AC. All rooms are above the deck and have large windows to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Komodo National Park.

The Diving

solitude-adventurer-dive-deck-web-1You are not dreaming, that piccy is the dive deck. Not bad, ay?  Spacious, immaculate and well designed are just several of the words that could be used to describe this beauty.

Two dive tenders will get you to and from the best dive sites at the correct time and place, so you  make the most of your diving adventure.

Food Onboard

Solitude-adventurer-foodFood on board the vessel is a mix of freshly prepared local and international cuisine, served buffet style FIVE times per day. Snacks are available all day.

We will arrange your plant-based menu and snacks with the chef. If you have a specific list of dietary requirements, ingredients, or exclusions, just let us know, and we will take care of it for you.
