Raja Ampat diving casts a spell on all who descend into its abundant waters – scientists, photographers, novices, and lifetime divers alike. Situated at the heart of the Coral Triangle, Raja Ampat holds the prestigious title of the most marine bio-diverse place on earth. Recently a count of fish and coral species found Raja to contain over 1400 species of reef fish and more than 600 species of coral, of all the world’s coral species, 75 percent can be found by you here. Along with large numbers of pelagic species, Raja Ampat is a must to get under your weight belt.
The Solitude Adventurer is a 36-meter aluminum catamaran that underwent a full renovation in 2017. Making use of experience derived from the refit of sister vessel Solitude One, the adventurer now caters to up to 18 divers in luxury.
There are three types of cabins to choose from, one master stateroom, six deluxe cabins, and one quad cabin. Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with a cold/hot shower, and AC. All rooms are situated above the deck and have large windows so that you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the four kings.
Safety onboard is paramount. The vessel is equipped with all necessary emergency/safety hardware and the crew has been trained to use it. Nautilus Marine Rescue GPS units will be provided to all diving guests for that extra piece of mind when out diving the remote Raja dive sites.
Food on board the vessel is a mix of freshly prepared local and international cuisine, served buffet style FIVE times per day. Snacks are available all day. The chef onboard the Solitude Adventurer can cater to plant-based diets, although these will be served to you a la carte. Let us help arrange your plant-based menu and snacks with the chef. If you have a specific list of dietary requirements, ingredients or exclusions just let us know and we will take care of it for you.
The crew will be waiting to greet you at the Airport in Sorong. After you are comfortably settled onboard and have completed registration, there will be a safety/orientation briefing. After lunch, schedule allowing, there will be a check dive.

Giant Gorgonia fans on the reef walls play host to a variety of Pigmy seahorse species. The area is comprised of countless limestone islands, which give shelter to an array of reef-dwelling fish. Pelagic species can be seen patrolling the reefs looking for a meal, and the reefs abound with a rainbow of healthy soft, and hard coral. There are pinnacles, ridges, reefs, and small islands to explore, making this area sought after by most who venture this far. If you’re lucky you may encounter the endemic Raja Ampat Epaulette shark (walking shark) or Manta Ray. Spend the next 3 days exploring Misool.
On your last day of diving, you will have 2 dives. In the area of Daram in the easternmost part of Misool, you’ll enjoy two morning dives. After diving is finished, the crew will wash your equipment and hang it to dry. You may relax and enjoy as you cruise back to the port of Sorong during the afternoon.
