There are many more, and this is not a comprehensive list, but you will get a good idea of what you can see and where you can go. 1. Cozumel Cozumel is one of the most popular scuba diving destinations in Mexico. It’s home to a variety of marine life, including whale sharks, turtles, and colourful coral reefs. The island has over 200 dive sites that range from shallow reefs to deep drop-offs. Diving highlights: Vibrant coral reefs, abundant marine life (including eagle rays, nurse sharks, and turtles), and famous dive sites like Palancar Reef and Santa Rosa Wall. Best time to dive: March to June, when water temperatures are warmest and visibility is at its best. During this period, you can expect calm seas with good visibility at most dive sites. However, some currents may be present during storms or strong winds, so check conditions before going out on your dives. 2.
